DEMIAN – DEMIAN – 1971 (US) heavy psych/hard rock

Formed from the ashes of Bubble Puppy (in which all four had previously played) and signed to ABC on the advice of Steppenwolf's Nick St Nicholas, they took their new name from the title of a Hermann Hesse novel and headed back to Houston after a spell in California. Face The World was the gem on an impressive hard rock album. Later in 1977 Prince and Potter played together in Sirius.
