TOAD – TOMORROW BLUE – 1972 (SWISS) hard rock

Originally released on Halleluja in 1972, Tomorrow Blue is considered by many to be Toad's magnum opus. Musically, their songs are still well-rooted in blues rock, with elements of hard-prog that give their > songs more depth. Vic Vergeat is in top form and proves himself here as one of the greatest rock guitar players of all time. Includes 3 bonus tracks culled from rare singles.

Vittorio "Vic" Vergeat - guitar, vocals, piano
Cosimo Lampis - drums, percussion, vocals
Werner Fröhlich - bass, vocals
01. Thoughts (06:27)
02. Tomorrow Blue (09:08)
03. Blind Chapman's Tales (05:21)
04. Vampires (05:39)
05. No Need (03:37)
06. Change In Time (12:21)
07. Three O Clock In The Morning (00:46)
08. Fly (06:47)
09. I Saw Her Standing There (03:27)
10. Green Ham (03:56)

Brilliant heavy blues rock. I can only discribe it as a cross between early led zep and hendrix in places particularly the 'track change in time'There are also other influences like savoy brown and other rock bands of the era.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Many thanks for sharing this one.
It's another killer album of european hard rock. I like it a lot, especially the tracks "Vampires", "No Need" and the long "Change in Time" with those powerful guitar riffs.
Thanks again
