Even though Witchfinder General was disbanded after only three years and only came out with two albums, they are the best-kept secret in Heavy Metal. Their sound is very similar to that of Black Sabbath. Put simply, the singer sounds like an Ozzy Osbourne clone, which leads me to the question, how did Witchfinder General get a cloning machine? They barely had enough technology to record this live album. The quality is poor, mainly because it was recorded over 20 years ago at a small gig. The song “Last Chance” features a two-minute drum solo, a great yet lost Metal trend. Witchfinder General is THE most classic underground Doom band. Now I’m not saying to go out and buy this album (I don’t think you’ll ever find it anyways), but Heavy Metal definitely has lost some of its trademarked styles over the years, so its good to hear a band who knows their values in music.

Excellent live album, thanks. Been after this for a while. Just one thing. The 4th track 'Requiem for Youth' is repeated in the 5th track 'Shadowed Images'. Could you please upload jjust the actual 'Shadowed Images'?
Shine On,
