BLUES CREATION – DEMON & ELEVEN CHILDREN – 1971 (JAP) heavy psych/hard rock

Very good album that has its moments of greatness and confusion (maybe even "Sorrow"). The guitarist, Kazuo Takeda, has some incredible solos and riffs almost on par with Black Sabbath, however the vocals of Furnio Nunoya are somewhat tedious. They are tolerable on a view songs, but on others they just cant be taken seriously. Once you get over the droning, broken english vocals, you can fully appreciate Blues Creation's chemistry and impressive jamming. Once again, Takeda really steals the show and would have been able to hold his own with Tony Iommi. The highlight is the title track which features multiple riff structures, awesome jamming, and, surprise, good vocals. Other highlights include: "Atomic Bombs Away," "Sooner Or Later," and "Sorrow." The latter is an interesting song that actually sounds like Gun's "Race With the Devil" in its quieter moments.
